About
Built for the next generation of Indian business leaders
We're not another directory. We're a structured chapter network — a referral economy for India's 63 million SMBs.
Our story
India has over 63 million small and medium businesses, yet fewer than 15% are meaningfully discoverable online within their own neighbourhood. Existing platforms operate as bulk paid listing services — selling one customer's number to five vendors, with no trust signal and no relationship.
Meanwhile, the most reliable growth channel in Indian business has never changed: a warm referral from someone the customer already trusts. Structured referral networking — the model proven worldwide by organisations like BNI — shows what happens when that channel is organised instead of left to chance: members who meet weekly, learn each other's businesses, and pass qualified referrals consistently out-earn members who rely on cold leads.
We built nblbiz to bring that model to every Indian city — and to fuse it with a modern digital directory. Every contact unlock is a verified intent signal: one customer, one vendor. Every member belongs to a city-level chapter. And every chapter is a referral economy: members meet regularly, give warm intros, build power teams, and grow together.
Our mission
To give every local business — regardless of size — the tools to be discovered, earn referrals, build community, and measure growth. Without app downloads. Without spam. Without the bulk-listing race to the bottom.
What we believe
- Trust over reach. One verified lead is worth fifty cold ones.
- Local first. Real growth happens chapter by chapter, city by city.
- Givers gain. The network that refers the most, grows the most.
- WhatsApp wins. The platform meets people where they already are.
- India-first. Telugu and English, GST-compliant, India-region data.
Our framework
The 5 C's — how every chapter operates
Five habits, practised in every meeting, in every city. They're not slogans — each one maps to a concrete mechanic inside the platform.
Connect
Every relationship starts with a conversation. Weekly chapter meetings, one-on-ones, and visitor days are engineered to put you face-to-face with the business owners in your city — not behind a listing, but across a table.
Collaborate
A wedding photographer alone gets weddings. A photographer in a power team with a planner, caterer, decorator, and venue gets the whole season. Collaboration multiplies what any single member can reach.
Create
Chapters are idea engines. Education slots, member spotlights, and workshops push members to sharpen their pitch, improve their offer, and create new revenue lines they would never have found working alone.
Contribute
Senior members mentor new ones through a structured 30/60/90-day onboarding. Knowledge moves down, referrals move around, and the whole chapter rises. Contribution is tracked, recognised, and rewarded.
Celebrate
Member of the Month, Top Referrer, Perfect Attendance — every win is announced chapter-wide. Recognition isn't vanity; it's fuel. Businesses that are celebrated refer more, show up more, and stay longer.
Why it works
Referrals close. Cold leads cost.
Warm by default
A referred customer arrives pre-sold. The member who passed the referral has already vouched for you — the trust conversation is finished before the first call.
One seat per category
Inside a chapter, your category is yours. The plumber doesn't compete with another plumber for the chapter's referrals — every member is an extension of your sales force, not a rival.
Compounding, not transactional
Listings produce leads this month. Relationships produce referrals for years. The longer a chapter runs, the better every member's pipeline gets.
Member code of conduct
Six commitments every member makes
A chapter is only as strong as its least reliable member. These commitments keep the referral economy honest.
Show up
Attend your chapter meetings consistently. Your seat represents your category — when you're absent, your referrals are too.
Give first
Pass referrals before you expect them. The leaderboard rewards net givers, and so does the network.
Refer honestly
Only pass a referral you'd act on yourself. A bad referral costs the chapter more than no referral.
Follow up fast
Acknowledge every referral within 24 hours. Speed is respect — to the giver and to the customer.
Deliver quality
Your work reflects on the member who referred you. Treat every referred customer as a referral audition.
Keep it confidential
What's shared in one-on-ones and chapter meetings stays there. Trust is the chapter's only real asset.
Built in Hyderabad
Designed and engineered by SDU Tech Solutions in Hyderabad, Telangana — for India's local businesses, in Telugu and English. The first chapters launched in Warangal and Hyderabad, and the network grows the way it should: one city, one chapter, one referral at a time.
